Insurance
Today,
all major insurance carriers accept PDR. In fact, they
encourage it!
Before
you repair hail damage through an insurance claim, there are
a few things you should know.
First,
hail damage is a comprehensive claim, and will NOT make your
insurance rates go up. Your
insurance company might give you a list of vendors for your
PDR repair. Texas Dent Repair will not be on that
list – here's why:
*
Insurance vendors are under contract with the insurance
company, and MUST charge you a deductible.
*
Texas Dent Repair
works on your behalf with a licensed independent adjustor or
the Insurance company to get your repair approved at the
proper level.
*
That means you are assured of the highest quality service,
*
And, we confidently offer a Lifetime Warranty on the work!
Do I have
to go where my insurance company tells me to go?
No. As
the policy holder, the choice is yours. If you go to a shop
recommended by your insurance company, they are under
contract with the insurance company and are required to
charge you a deductible. That’s why it’s important to note,
Texas Dent Repair
works on your behalf with a licensed independent adjustor to
get your repair approved at the proper level, which means
you are assured of the highest quality service. Plus, we
can help with your deductible and still offer you our
Lifetime Warranty.
If the
Insurance company offers the wrong amount for the claim, we
ask that they come to our shop and look at every dent on
your car to make sure you get the right amount of money.
Texas Dent Repair
does not charge you more for this service. We want you to
get your car or truck fixed right. That is why you have
insurance.

Some
insurance companies will tell you that you must take your
vehicle to a particular shop for repairs. This is not
true! The Texas Department of Insurance says:
“BY LAW, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO SELECT WHERE YOUR MOTOR
VEHICLE IS REPAIRED AND THE PARTS USED FOR REPAIRS.
HOWEVER, AN INSURANCE COMPANY IS NOT REQUIRED TO PAY MORE
THAN A REASONABLE AMOUNT FOR SUCH REPAIRS AND PARTS. YOUR
STATUTORY RIGHTS REGARDING MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIRS ARE
EXPLAINED IN THE INSURANCE CODE, ARTICLE 5.07-1. IF THE
DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE IS COVERED BY AN INSURANCE POLICY,
THE NATURE OF THE COVERAGE AND YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS UNDER THE
CONTRACT ARE DESCRIBED IN MORE DETAIL IN THE APPLICABLE
POLICY. FOR DETAILED INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR INSURANCE
POLICY, CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY”.
