What to do first after hail damage?

The first thing you need to do when your car is damaged by hail is to contact your insurance agent.  Agents get backed up with claims the first few weeks after a hail storm, so the sooner you contact them, the better chance you have to get your vehicle in to Texas Dent Repair for prompt repair.

Do I need an estimate from Texas Dent Repair for hail damage?

No.  Texas Dent Repair. will work directly off of your insurance estimate, and directly with your insurer during the process of your hail damage repair.  This will save you time by not having to duplicate the estimate process.

How do I know Texas Dent Repair prices are good?

Texas Dent Repair has very fair prices and we will help pay your deductible. In some cases you can get all your deductible paid and fix your hail damage. If you have a $500.00 deductible and get your hail dents fixed for free, that's a great deal! Contact Texas Dent Repair today or call 325-864-9600.

How does the insurance determine repair costs?

The number of dents per panel and the size of dents per panel determine the repair cost.

Will the Paintless Dent Repair harm my vehicle's finish?

No.  PDR is preformed from the underside of the panel.

How will this affect my car's value?

Paintless Dent Repair, or PDR, when properly performed will allow you to get more for your  trade-in because it has not been repainted.  This can save you BIG money (about 20%) at trade-in.  (A $20,000 vehicle could decrease in value as much as $4,000 when it has been repainted).

How long will it take?

Same-day service is possible on minor hail damage. Usually, 48-hour service is to be expected.  Heavily damaged vehicles could take up to 5 days.

Does claiming hail damage on my insurance raise my insurance rates?

No.  Hail damage is considered an "Act of God" and should not raise your insurance premium.

How we do it:

Paintless Dent Repair, or PDR, involves accessing the backside of the damaged area and, using specialized tools, "massaging" the metal back to the original factory level.  Yes, we can even access damage behind and under braces and the like.

Will it hurt my car's finish?

The PDR process will not harm your vehicle's finish.  PDR is

performed from the inside of the panel.

How much can I save using PDR over conventional body shop

repair?

You can expect to save around 20% to 300% over conventional

painting methods on door ding repairs.

What is the estimate process like?

Estimates for door dings only take a few minutes and are FREE!

We will assess the damage and explain what we can do for you. You will receive a copy of the estimate for your records, and you can bring it back anytime and pay that price for that damage.

How long does a repair take?

Most dents can be repaired in about an hour or less.  More extensive damage could take a few hours.  Many of our customers wait while their vehicle is being repaired.

What does it cost?

Average door dings (1/2 dollar size and smaller) run between $75 and $95.  Larger dents can go up from $95, but will always be less than conventional body shop repairs.

 Does insurance cover door dings?

Because door dings and dents can normally be repaired cheaper than your  deductible, there is no reason to use your insurance.

Unlike a hail damage claim, claiming door dings could cause your insurance rates to increase (non-Act of God).
